MSB RAIPUR EYE HEALTH WORKSHOP
Actions need to be balanced in order to lead a productive life. Understanding the "balancing point" in every endeavour increases the probability of positive outcomes.
We are extremely fortunate to be guided by Aqa Maula tus in every aspect of our lives. As a result, all our efforts reap maximum benefits alhamdolillah.
We are now in the third week of online classes which have been running effectively. Inspite of the various adjustments that had to be made for online classes, it is our eyes that have taken a lot of stress due to the disproportionate increase in screen time.
Education doesn't only mean "academic excellence" but it very much includes the "well being" of the body and the soul.
Keeping in mind the health and well being of our students, parents and teachers; we have decided to keep school off on coming monday and tuesday (29th and 30th June). This break is particularly being given to move away from the screen; be it online classes or personal usage of gadgets.
Let us all pledge to protect our eyes from screen time starting sunday till tuesday. Alternative activities suggested for students during the screen time break are:- 1) Drawing
2) Painting
3) Reading (books, magazines, newspapers or journals)
4) Any assignment or subject work that does not require screen time
5) Cooking
6) Gardening
7) Cycling (in safe environment)
8) Helping parents in daily household chores like cleaning, cloth care etc
9) Story telling sessions with buzurgo/parents
10) Spending quality time with family members
11) Physical exercises
12) Art & Craft activities
Additionally, it is very highly recommended to not spend time on:- 1) Mobiles❌
2) Television❌
3) Computer❌
4) Laptop❌
5) Tab❌
Let us make these days *memorable* by saying NO to screens in this break. *THAT IS ALL _EYE_ CAN SAY*
